WHAT IS TEARDROP TAPS?
Our custom cedar wood teardrop tap trailer is perfect for any event, indoors or outdoors! Featuring up to four taps that pour any ice-cold beverage without power, it fits in most 12’ x 12’ spaces and can be tailored to your needs. Perfect for weddings, parties, and corporate events!
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We serve the Greater Charlotte, NC area, including Charlotte, Huntersville, Concord, Matthews, Monroe, Lake Wylie, and more.
We also serve all of North Carolina and South Carolina. Travel is included for up to 100 miles one-way. Beyond that, a travel fee of $0.65 per mile applies — 10 cents below the national standard!
DO YOU PROVIDE THE ALCOHOL?
In North Carolina (and most other states), event hosts are required to purchase the alcohol themselves. To make this easy, we’ll provide you with a detailed shopping list, so you know exactly what to get.
We also have partnerships and solutions available to assist with the process. If you need help sourcing alcohol, let’s chat—we’re happy to explore options that work best for your event!
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE MY DATE?
A 20% deposit is required to hold your date.
WHAT ARE MY BEVERAGE OPTIONS?
The teardrop can serve beer, cider, or any cold beverage that doesn’t need power from kegs. We can also serve wine, cocktails, mocktails, seltzers, soda, tea, lemonade, and coffee at our bar or yours.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RIGS?
- Teardrop Taps needs at least a 12′ x 12′ space
- The Wanderer is 7 ft long
- The River is 5.5 ft long
- The Foldaway can fit anywhere
- Bartenders – $30/hr
HOW DOES INSURANCE WORK?
Insurance requirements vary by venue—some require it, while others do not. We are fully licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina and carry insurance coverage up to $2 million. If needed, we can add your venue to our policy for coverage.
DO YOU HAVE A RAIN DATE OR REFUND POLICY?
As outlined in our contract, retainer fees are non-refundable. However, if you cancel at least 30 days before your event, we will issue a refund minus the 20% retainer. In the rare case that we must cancel, you will receive a full refund.
